Brooklyn 3-townhouse construction update: basement shell done, 1st floor joists hung

[vimeo http://vimeo.com/32467955] mailchimpsept_1I wish I got more emails like this, from Brennan Real Estate: "ABOUT THE PROJECT: Strong Place is a ground-up development of 3 single-family townhomes on a vacant lot at the corner of Strong Place and Kane Street in the Cobble Hill Historic District, Brooklyn, NY.  The 5 bedroom / 3.5 bath homes measure approximately 3,800 sq ft each.  The land was acquired in November 2011 in an off-market deal.  Construction is projected to be complete by May 2014.

"UPDATE: As of late August, the basement slabs have been poured, steel-reinforced block shear walls are in place at the SPUpdateSeptember.132511[1]cellar level and the garden level framing is just about complete. A couple of aspects that make this project different from both existing and new competitors - LVL floor joists and 9ft clear ceiling height at cellar level.  Quality is in the details."  Full post here.
