Phoenix mayor moved into 4-story neo-Victorian townhouse, symbol for density and transit

From Phoenix Business Journal writer Mike Sunnicks: "Chateau on Central, the 21-unit upscale, Victorian-style brownstone development, first condo was sold to outgoing Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon.  The brownstone includes four levels, basements and commercial-grade elevators. "Gordon said Chateau’s unique architecture, central Phoenix location on the Metro light rail, and live-work floor plans appealed to him.  'I wanted a place that kind of reflected what I stood for,' said Gordon, who backed light rail and downtown and central Phoenix development to create more density. 'It’s also unique in its style.'"  Full article here.
